Elementary classes are taught in self-contained classrooms with specialist teachers providing instruction in specialty areas such as Spanish, art, music, physical education, library, and computer. Harvest Christian Academy’s elementary curriculum recognizes the diversity of learning styles, educational levels, and personal interests of our students. Instruction focuses on strategies that engage students in the learning process and higher level thinking. A wide range of textbook publishers are used to provide appropriate materials for our elementary students. Some of the publishers used are: ABeka, BJU Press, CSI, Saxon Math, and ACSI.
